 Milarepa DaySat February 27th: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Price: $10 Members ($10 General Public) In Room(s): Tantra Shrine Room The primary focus of the day is reading aloud The Rain of Wisdom: The Vajra Songs of the Kagyu Gurus, a text translated under the guidance of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The Rain of Wisdom consists of stories of the great meditators of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. By reading aloud the stories of these teachers we simultaneously invoke their presence and learn from their example. Schedule: 8:30 AM - Instructions and morning chants 9:00 AM: Sitting 9:20 AM: Glorious Flame of Wisdom practice (from page 1 to middle of page 17) followed by reading of Rain of Wisdom 12 noon: Lunch 1:00 PM: Rain of Wisdom reading 4:20 PM: Protector chants 4:30 PM: Silent Tea 4:45 - 6:00 PM: Rain of Wisdom reading, followed by closing of Glorious Flame of Wisdom practice and Closing chants Anyone interested in staffing the program or reading, please contact Bob Sonne bobsonne@gmail.com or Bruce Dodds brucedodds@comcast.net All are welcome regardless of experience.
