Topics include - What is enlightenment?
- Three elements of the path: view, meditation, & activity
- How the practice of contemplation unravels the matrix of concept
- How the four maras obscure emptiness and luminosity
- How the virtues of contentment, compassion, equanimity, & selflessness build "inner sustainability" in daily life
In addition, the Sakyong offers guided meditation in the practices of peaceful abiding, contemplation, and ground lungta (windhorse). This program is open to anyone interested in learning about meditation and Shambhala Buddhism. Note: A fifth class has been added for June 21st - this class will be held in the Kalapa Suite downstairs.
